Issued 11 August 2026

Constructionline is the UK’s largest pre-qualification register for construction and infrastructure buyers. Gold membership means our company information, policies and insurances have been independently checked against the industry’s standard pre-qualification questions, so buyers don’t have to repeat those checks themselves.

What was assessed

  • Company details, ownership and financial standing
  • Insurances: public liability and professional indemnity cover
  • Health and safety management (SSIP recognised)
  • Quality and environmental management
  • Equality and diversity, modern slavery and anti-bribery policies
  • Data protection (UK GDPR) and business continuity

What it means for you

  • Skip most of the supplier questionnaire: request our Constructionline profile instead
  • Meets PAS 91 and Common Assessment Standard pre-qualification expectations
  • Status is monitored, so you can check it’s current at any time

SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) sets a common standard for health and safety pre-qualification. Our health and safety arrangements have been assessed by Once For All, a UKAS-accredited inspection body, against the SSIP Core Criteria as a contractor.

What was assessed

  • Health and safety policy, organisation and arrangements
  • Competent health and safety advice
  • Risk assessment and method statements
  • Training, information and competence of our pilots and field staff
  • Accident reporting, investigation and monitoring
  • Management of sub-contractors and consultation with our workforce

What it means for you

  • SSIP schemes recognise each other, so you shouldn’t need a separate health and safety questionnaire
  • Accepted in most construction, highways and local authority supply chains
  • Reassessed every year, so our arrangements stay current

FAQ

Compliance questions

Yes. We operate under a CAA Operational Authorisation (Specific category) and our remote pilots hold the qualifications it requires. Our operator ID and authorisation are included in the procurement pack.

Often, yes. Many sites sit inside Flight Restriction Zones or controlled airspace. We check every site at quote stage and apply for the necessary permissions — our programme accounts for any lead time.

Safety and data quality come first, so we won’t fly in conditions outside the aircraft’s limits or that would compromise accuracy. We monitor forecasts closely and reschedule at the earliest suitable window, at no extra cost.

We plan flights to minimise imagery of people and private property beyond the site. Where incidental capture is unavoidable, data is handled under UK GDPR and we can blur people and number plates on request.
